ENTLEBUCHER MOUNTAIN DOGS - ENTLEBUCHER SENNENHUNDS - ENTLEBUCHER CATTLE DOGS (Commonly pronounced Ent-lee-boo-ker)
We continue to place names on our waiting list. You are welcome to return a completed puppy questionnaire. After reviewing the information, we will contact you to discuss including your name on the list. We will NOT place your name on the waiting list without a completed questionnaire! Applicant(s) must be 18 years of age. We encourage you to read our Breed Information and Frequently Asked Questions pages to learn more about the breed, and determine if this breed is right for you and your family, before submitting your questionnaire. All names are placed on the waiting list in the order they are received, and the families are contacted in this same order.
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $250.00 USD is required to hold your reservation. We will ONLY accept four deposits for each litter, and those fill quickly. This deposit shows us that you are serious about providing a new home for one of our puppies. It is also our guarantee that you will receive a puppy from our kennel, and therefore, will not be refunded. Should we be unable to provide you with a puppy from the current litter, we will apply your deposit toward a puppy from the next available litter.
In accordance with the European ban of tail docking - we do NOT dock tails. However, we do remove dewclaws.
We register our puppies with the American Kennel Club's Foundation Stock Service and the Entlebucher Mountain Dog Club of America. Before leaving for their new home, our puppies receive their first set of vaccinations and a microchip (Canadian homes are the ONLY exception). All of the puppies are wormed every two weeks, until they are started on monthly Heartguard chew tablets. Each puppy is offered their own traveling crate. To help ease their transition to their new home, we include a stuffed animal that has been rubbed on their siblings.
We begin socialization as early as three weeks of age. With the various animals on the farm, this offers the opportunity for the puppies to experience a variety of smells and situations. We are also able to introduce the pups to specific situations, at the new owner's request.
We reserve the right at any time to refuse the placement of a puppy, in the case that we do not feel comfortable with the placement. All placements will always be made in the puppies' best interests.
